Last week, Paul Hastings co-hosted the Conference on M&A and Corporate Governance at Columbia Law School, which gathered speakers from academia, the judiciary, and the legal and finance industries to explore relevant issues in M&A and corporate governance.

Eduardo Gallardo, Global Co-Chair of Mergers and Acquisitions, spoke on a panel titled “Is There MFW Creep? (And, if so, in Which Direction?)” that discussed the question of MFW creep and the In re Match case pending before the Delaware Supreme Court.

Jennifer Conn, Co-Chair of Securities Litigation, spoke on a panel titled “The Insecurity of a Security: Crypto Assets and Current Issues in Securities Enforcement and Litigation,” which covered cryptocurrency assets and current issues in securities enforcement and litigation.
